Diamond are pure crystallized carbon born from deep below the earth's crust through volcanic eruptions millions of years ago. It is the hardest natural substance known to man.

Diamonds are so valuable that man has literally moved mountains to find them.

Diamonds are believed to have entered the history of man in India around 400 BC. Originally they were symbols of strength, courage, invincibility and would only be owned by kings.

It wasn't until the 15th century, when Archduke Maximilian of Austria gave the first diamond ring to Princess Mary of Burgundy, that women started wearing diamonds as a symbol of enduring love.
